As per our charter amended January 1, 2017
V1 CATEGORY OF MEMBERSHIP:
B. Affiliate membership may be granted to an individual whose business or organization has a direct relationship to the services for which a concierge offers their guests. Affiliate members are permitted 1 (one) representative per company to attend GBCA meetings and events. If the representative is unable to attend, another representative from said business may attend with prior approval of the board.
The GBCA is a networking organization with benefits include:
•Current membership lists of all concierges and affiliate members.
• Invitations to our monthly meetings and other activities that will be planned throughout the year.
• Opportunities to network with concierges and other affiliate members.
• Feature on the GBCA website and social media sites with appropriate mentions and hashtags.
• Opportunity to send information to members via email blast.
• The opportunity to participate in our annual Tabletop Trade Show.
Your dues of $185 are requested with this application within 30 days from receipt of application renewal or notification of acceptance of application. Annual membership is from January 1 to December 31, 2026.
Application and payment is due by January 16, 2026. Reminder, Affiliate Membership resides with the business/organization. Membership must be renewed by application each year with the designation of your organization's representative for that year.
Affiliates must attend a minimum of three (3) GBCA business meetings per year to remain in good standing. Only members in good standing will be eligible to run for the Affiliate Engagement board position, vote for the GBCA President, Affiliate Engagement position and attend the Anniversary Member Gala.
Membership in the GBCA is a privilege and not a right. Affiliates must request renewal each year and membership in the GBCA may be revoked at any time with approval of the GBCA board. As an affiliate member of the Greater Boston Concierge Association, you are expected to contribute to the organization in some fashion.
