Nathan D. Goff, Chief Financial Officer
Chef Concierge, Boston Harbor Hotel
Nathan Goff has been Chef Concierge at the Forbes’ Five-Star-rated Boston Harbor Hotel for over 25 years. For 15 of those years, he has served on Les Clefs d’Or USA’s Board of Directors, holding the positions of Membership Director, Secretary, Treasurer, Director of Media, Vice President, and President. He is currently the President Emeritus of this highly esteemed, global association of hotel concierge professionals. At the start of 2025, Nathan joined the Greater Boston Concierge Association’s Board of Directors as Chief Financial Officer.
In 2010, Nathan competed as the USA contestant in the international Young Leader Award, a friendly competition that brings young Les Clefs d’Or members from all over the world to compete on the international stage. The purpose of the award is to acknowledge the best and brightest rising stars of the concierge profession.
He began his hospitality career while in college at Johnson & Wales University, working in the restaurant at the Boston Harbor Hotel as host, and then server, and then moving from F&B to Front Desk operations. The concierge desk, within earshot of reception, sparked Nathan’s curiosity. Overhearing guest/concierge interactions, he knew immediately that helping guests explore Boston and create lifelong memories was his calling.
As the son of a pastor, Nathan has always been active in church. Since childhood, Sundays would find him greeting parishioners, assisting them to their pews, and asking them about their wellbeing. Nathan believes it was this foundation of community that led him to his love of hospitality.
Nathan’s passions include travel, food, and the arts – all interests that complement the concierge profession perfectly. In his spare time, you can find Nathan in his kitchen, poring over one of his 300+ cookbooks. He loves entertaining and creating delicious dishes for his friends and loved ones, and cooks everything from pork vindaloo to Mom’s apple crisp.
