Lisa joins the GBCA in 2025 as the Director of Public Relations. Lisa works as a concierge at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf Hotel where she has worked for seven years. Prior to becoming a concierge, Lisa’s background included public relations where she worked in hospitality, sports and entertainment.
She learned to love the hospitality industry through her extensive travel for work. In fact, Lisa fell in love with the amazing city of Boston on one of those work trips… after experiencing all the city had to offer, she never left.
A graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in Public Relations, she lists her favorite hobby as watching her Longhorns compete in every sport. Other favorite activities include traveling and exploring new restaurants, attractions and events.
Lisa’s favorite recommendation for visitors to Boston is the infamous North End, home to more than 84 locally-owned Italian restaurants and three fabulous bakeries – Mike’s, Modern and Bova. The area boasts a charming neighborhood with a rich history.
